Top 10 Most Anticipated Dramas of Fall 2016

000000fall16-1

Sheesh, time really does fly with dramas. I feel like I just wrote my list for anticipated summer dramas, and now those shows are already over (with only W and Moonlight Drawn by Clouds still airing). I think it’ll be hard for Fall to surpass last season—there was just so much goodness; I can’t get over it—but you never really know. Continue reading

Give Me ALL the W Merch. ALL OF IT.

w-merch

What. What. What. We can actually buy the beautiful artwork from W—Two Worlds? Gahhh, why must I be a financially-struggling student?? I seriously just want to buy all the things. Continue reading

Throwback Thurs…er, Tuesday: Gumiho Love ♥

gumiho-tt5

Yup. Three years later and my heart STILL hurts. The undeniable power of the magical gumiho (and the magical Cha Dae Woong) remains strong. Continue reading

That is So Me – A Look into Age of Youth’s Five Heroines

ageofyouth7-00003

It’s been a week since the female-centric drama Age of Youth ended, and I’m just now starting to feel that familiar emptiness knowing there won’t be a new episode every week. That happens with every drama I watch, but with Age of Youth, it’s a little different.  Continue reading

Unfinished Business #2: Tears of Frustration & Tears of Boredom

16-08-28-01-25-00-508_deco

In my last Unfinished Business post, I talked about some older dramas that I never got around to finishing. This time, I’ll be going through the more recent dramas I’ve dropped, almost all of which I’ve shed tears for, but for all the wrong reasons. Continue reading

Bidding Farewell to Gong Shim, Lucky & Mirror

16-07-19-18-08-41-938_deco

Time to tie up some loose ends and make way for the new dramas (W, I’m lookin’ at you, love). A lot of the shows I’d been enjoying sizzled out near the end, but like any other drama, it’s always hard to say goodbye to the characters we’ve bonded with for the past two months. The characters from these three shows in particular will be extremely hard to say goodbye to.  Continue reading

A Massive Explosion of W—Two Worlds Promos

16-06-22-16-45-32-467_deco

Well, it’s about time, W! I don’t want to rush the drama’s crew since I know this is a live shoot, but how can I not be greedy at a time like this? A new Jong Suk drama is almost upon us, for crying out loud! *squeals so high my voice gives out* Continue reading

Mama’s Picks: Entertainer

ddanddara-fi

The funny thing is my mom wanted to watch this because of cutie Minhyuk and I wanted to watch this because of Ji Sung. I actually love a lot of these cast members (big fan of CN Blue and Teen Top), but none of them, not even Ji Sung, could get me to fully enjoy Entertainer. At least Mama got a kick out of it. Continue reading

Why Am I Still Rooting for this Jerkface? – A Look into Oh Hae Young Again’s Frustrating Hero

OHYA-dk2

Sooo… Before we get into the heavy stuff, can we all agree that Oh Hae Young Again thus far has been and still is so satisfyingly awesome that every other show airing right now doesn’t seem to compare? (Except for Mirror of the Witch and Beautiful Gong Shim, which I believe are equally awesome for different reasons.) Continue reading

Top 10 Drama Mamas

dramamamas1

K-dramas are notorious for their eeevilll mothers and mothers-in-law. And though they’re fun to watch (sometimes), it’s such a welcoming breath of fresh air when we find out our beloved main characters actually have some pretty cool moms.  Continue reading
